Refine Your Flow-The Art and Science of Tri-Yoga Flows with Heike Binder

  • Cedar & Sage Wellness Studio 55823 Twentynine Palms Highway Yucca Valley (map)

Join Heike to enjoy the deep alchemy of Triyoga Flows® (Level 2-3).

TriYoga, a Hatha Yoga style was founded by internationally known Yogini Kaliji.

Bring openness and mindful curiosity to this yoga practice! During this three-hour flow workshop we focus on exploring new transitionsspinal waveseven pacing, and the ideas of relaxation-in-action & economy of movement. TriYoga Flows unite pranayama (breathing) and mudra flows (hand gestures) with dynamic and sustained asana (posture) to create greater flow of prana (life-force).

You may have gone to hundreds of classes over the years. During these 75-minute classes we often move from asana to asana without having time to truly explore and understand the transitions or the pose, take it deeper or acknowledge the sensations of the body.
This workshop is the perfect opportunity to explore the subtleties of familiar poses and transitions.

Through this workshop we will:

– Explore the alignment, and intention of common yoga postures – potentially feeling them in entirely new places.

– Learn to become more engaged, attentive, integrated and focused in our transitions & asanas.

– Include Mudra Flows (hand gestures) into the practice.

– Explore the movement of the spine (spinal waves).

– Have an opportunity to ask questions throughout and take away new understandings to bring to your regular practice or yoga teaching.

– Practice pranayama (breath) & dharana (concentration techniques) along with a short meditation.
